Ken “The Prize” Kratz Gets A Surprise: ME!
I’ve been trying to get ahold of Ken Kratz for the last month, and he’s been dodging me the whole time. In the meanwhile, he’s become something of a media whore, grasping every opportunity to bash filmmaker’s Moira Demos and Laura Ricciardi by claiming Making A Murderer was purposely slanted to 1) make Steven Avery appear to be innocent; and, 2) to make Ken Kratz look like the ass hat that he is, or was after getting off prescription medication which hopefully means he’s stopped trading legal work for sex.
I finally had to drive all the way up to Superior Wisconsin to find him today, February 1st at his law firm at, oh, gee, I think the time of day was…um, uh… I guess I don’t even remember what time or whether it was day or night. But I DO remember that I wanted to talk to Kratz about Making A Murderer, and some of the things he’s been spouting to the main stream media.
Given how confident he’s been in the past, one might even say “chatty”, I thought for sure he’d relish yet another opportunity to talk about his by now famous “excluded evidence”. For some reason, unfortunately, he wasn’t as talkative with me as he’s been with Nancy Grace, Gothamist, Dateline, ID, and several other major media outlets, all of whom are either part of his cheer squad, or aren’t capable of playing hardball.
I hereby call shame on all major media outlets for letting this man of low morals to have a worldwide platform to spew his nonsense unchallenged. This goes for you, Nancy Grace, for you Dr. Phil; for you Dr. Drew; for you Gothamist, for you ID, and Dateline. I went to ask Kratz the tough questions you have never once bothered to ask Kratz. I went there to do YOUR job because you guys suck.
